Many of you might be surprised that my actual profession now is in IT as a Salesforce Administrator, but hey that’s life! I play now mostly for enjoyment in my apartment on my Yamaha keyboard. I’ve dedicated a new tab to these little keyboard musings here on my site. However if anyone is looking for my ensemble samples of my playing, below are some things.
Rough mix tracks from unreleased studio demo:
Loose Ends

En Route
The Thrill of Your Kiss
Musicians:
- Jon Raney piano, keyboards
- Eliot Zigmund drums (all tracks exc The Thrill of Your Kiss)

This is a link to a radio interview with Jordan Rich on CBS station WBZ I did in 2014 Boston, discussing Jimmy Raney’s life, our music, this website and a dedication concert at the Lilypad in the Cambridge area.
Waltz for Talia album is still available on Amazon I believe. CD Baby abandoned its Digital mp3 Download service. It is available on most streaming sites for free (YouTube, Spotify, I Tunes, etc.).
Doug Raney – Jon Raney @ Birdland 1996. These tracks were recorded by guitar enthusiast, Timothy Rogers who kindly availed the tracks to me. Below is sample. You can find all the Birdland tracks on my YouTube page on the sidebar (lower right)
