This was audio recording of Doug’s triumphant return gig in NYC at Birdland, October 1996 that he and I played together. It was a blast. I was hoping to clean up the audio a bit but I think it’s about as good as it can be given the source tape. Several guitarists in the audience as you expect! We kicked off the set of an arrangement I did of Dad’s “Motion” (originally for Joe Cohn’s record Two Funky People)
